Hotels Where to Stay In Santorini: Grace Santorini When most people think of Santorini, the city of Oia comes to mind. With the white washed buildings and blue rooftops lining the cliffside, Oia seems to be the ultimate getaway in Santorini. However, just a quick 15 minute taxi drive from Oia, you’ll discover the serene village of Imerovigli outside of Fira. As much as I loved visiting Oia (more on that to come), the city is definitely a tourist hot spot. While I loved the winding streets and local flair, the peaceful ambiance of Imerovigli was tough to beat! The Grace Santorini Hotel is one of the dreamiest places I’ve ever visited, and I can guarantee this will be my honeymoon destination someday. Though I visited the hotel with three girlfriends, this is definitely a stay to spend with a significant other. Since the hotel does not allow children under 14 years old, the adult-only vibe is perfect for a romantic getaway. Offering some of the best views of Santorini and the Caldera, the Grace Santorini is a must-visit boutique hotel for luxury travel. With hotel rooms, suites, and villas carved into the Caldera Cliffside, the hotel has a unique layout providing privacy and serenity. THE ROOMS The luxury rooms channel the same all-white Cycladic style the area is most known for, each with a balcony complete with panoramic views overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Many of the suites offer a private plunge pool with adjustable partitions for indoor/outdoor options. Santorini is recognized for the beautiful infinity pools draped along the cliffside, so I recommend splurging on a suite with a plunge pool! image via image via THE POOL Aside from the private plunge pools available in the hotel rooms and suites, the Grace Santorini infinity pool is the largest pool on the Caldera. The heated pool runs along the front of the hotel, and trust me, the views CANNOT be beat. Grab a cocktail from the poolside bar and cozy up on one of the double lounge chairs. The ultimate paradise. DINING The Grace Santorini features a delicious Mediterranean-fusion restaurant with indoor or outdoor terrace dining. For a more casual cuisine, the poolside bar menu features a variety of light bites and cocktails. To kickstart your vacation mornings, swing by the included champagne breakfast served daily. image via image via SHOPPING The resort concept store is perfect for the souvenir-seeker looking for unique, local items. From artwork to jewelry, clothing and more, the store offers a little something for everyone. Aside from the resort boutique, Imerovigli is scattered with quaint little boutiques throughout the cliffside, so be sure to spend some time exploring the town! ACTIVITIES While I could spend the majority of my vacation lounging poolside, the Grace Santorini offers plenty of activities for travelers. Sweat it out in the hotel fitness room or take advantage of the free pilates or yoga classes offered daily. The Grace Santorini offers boat trips to local islands or private daily cruises to enjoy a day at sea. Also, don’t forget to hop in a cab for a quick ride to Oia for an afternoon of exploring! ADDITIONAL AMENITIES Before your trip, be sure to ask about the personalized in-room options. From personalized fragrances and bath products to a customized fitness program, the Grace Santorini goes above and beyond to guarantee you’re more than satisfied. Other options include in-room romantic packages, bespoke cocktail kits, and an extensive pillow menu for the perfect sleep! image via Whether you’re planning a honeymoon or simply looking for a serene escape, the Grace Santorini truly is the ultimate paradise.
