Fashion Designer Spotlight: Etoile Discover Etoile: The everyday essential tote inspired by effortless luxury. Living in Dallas, there’s nothing I love more than discovering local designers that have built an incredibly successful and beautiful brand that incorporates not only style, but also functionality, into the collections. This is one of the many reasons I fell head over heels for the Dallas-based designer and handbag line, Etoile, and I’m so excited to introduce you all to the brand! If you’re unfamiliar with Etoile, the brand was created in Dallas by Montreal native, Annye Grande, in 2016 and has established quite the name for itself with features in fashion favorites such as British Vogue, WWD, Town & Country, and many more. Etoile has a flagship location in The Grand Canal Shops in Las Vegas, but you can also shop their handbags on their website or in upscale retailers across North America, Europe, and the UAE. For our readers located in Dallas, pop by our favorite Stanley Korshak to shop the collection! Etoile handbags are all manufactured in the United States with the finest, premium Italian leather. While the totes are signature for the Etoile brand, they have also introduced a beautiful collection of bucket bags, weekenders, backpacks, and small tech accessories – each with a wide selection of gorgeous hues to choose from! In addition, Etoile offers a selection of novelty straps to elevate your tote with bold details like fringe, snakeskin, and chic star-studded designs! While the soft leathers are my favorite for everyday wear, I love how the brand offers these fabulous totes in a versatile nylon style as well, offering the same quality and functionality at a lower price point. Over the last decade, my Louis Vuitton Neverfull has been my everyday tote bag for all occasions – whether I’m packing my laptop for meetings or hopping on a flight for my next getaway. While it holds everything I need, it’s constantly weighted down and the straps are always digging into my shoulders. Not only that, but it has that standard “tote” look that sometimes feels a bit bulky and stiff, unlike an everyday handbag. As soon as I switched out my everyday tote with the Etoile Rachel Medium Boa Tote, I was hooked. The Etoile Rachel boa tote is luxurious, functional, and versatile – and I’ve carried it everyday since it arrived! It fits literally everything from my laptop and Nikon to everyday essentials, yet it looks sleek and stylish. The wide shoulder strap is so comfortable, and I love how I can carry the tote as a crossbody, shoulder bag, or handbag! My favorite feature of the Rachel Tote is the interior pouch, which is perfect for holding my credit cards and cell phone – plus it’s great for traveling, because I never have to worry about forgetting a small bag again, since the pouch detaches from the interior and doubles as a small crossbody! The totes come in three sizes (mine is the Medium!), leather or nylon, and also features a selection of novelty straps to trade out to make a statement.
