DRUGSTORE FAVORITE: Burt’s Bees® Liquid Lipstick

In my opinion, no look is complete without a pop of color on my lips. If you were to take a peek inside my makeup cabinet, you would be shocked to see the amount of lipsticks, stains, and glosses I have piled up – But let’s be real, you can never have too much makeup! I’ve always preferred lipsticks or lip stains over a sheer gloss, due to the average wear time and bold color. Some of my everyday favorites are drugstore brands, and I love finding new products from my local CVS! Whether I’m traveling and forget a favorite product, OR I’ve run out of a product while I’m getting dressed, I love being able to grab my favorite products no matter where I am!

Most of you are probably familiar with Burt’s Bees (their lip balm is an essential!), but if you haven’t discovered their new liquid lipsticks, you need to head over to your nearest CVS and snag a couple! The liquid lipsticks glide on so smooth, leaving a bold, rich color on your lips with a subtle shine! Since my lips tend to get a bit dry when I’m traveling, I love how this long-wearing formula delivers all-day moisture leaving my lips looking lush and healthy!

What shocked me the most about this product was the intense color of each liquid lipstick. The product feels so lightweight and smooth when you apply it, but the colors are so vibrant and pretty! I tried six of their newest shades that are exclusive to CVS, as well as, two of their best-selling shades, and I really loved them all! For an everyday color, the Blush Bay was my favorite. The pink-ish hue brightened my skin tone and pulled my look together, while still looking natural. For an evening look, the Rushing Rose was my favorite (worn in today’s post!). It’s the perfect red for any occasion, and I can already tell it will be the first product I toss in my clutch for a night out!
