United States #KevinPickedFlowers: Our Rehearsal Dinner It’s crazy to think it has been *almost* 6 months since we tied the knot! As much fun as wedding planning was, the newlywed life is absolute bliss! We’re so excited to share details about our wedding on the blog over the next couple weeks, so we hope you enjoy this peek into our magical weekend! The Venue: Since our family lives on the coast, 30A has always felt like home to us – so we knew this would be the perfect location for us to tie the knot! While Blair and Peter got married in Seaside (click here to read about their amazing wedding), we decided to hop down 30A and choose Rosemary Beach for our wedding! We initially wanted to keep all of the events walking distance in Rosemary Beach, however, we casually stopped by Shark’s Tooth Golf Club to say “hi” to some friends when we were touring venues and fell in LOVE with the venue! Although it wasn’t walking distance to Rosemary, Shark’s Tooth is only an 8 minute drive from the Town Hall, so we decided it was a contender! What sealed the deal for us was how easy Shark’s Tooth was to work with! Madison, the events coordinator, was so helpful and always quick to respond to any questions. Although the venue is beautiful as-is, we wanted to enhance the space for our rehearsal dinner and hired Florals by the Sea to design the perfect event space for our friends and family. Since we were using Florals by the Sea for our wedding day, it simplified the planning process by having one person do both events. We also wanted to make sure both nights felt very different, so having the same person design both with this intention in mind brought us a level of comfort and understanding. We also worked with Marjia from Florals by the Sea and she was great! *Blair also used Florals by the Sea for her wedding weekend. See more here! * Getting There: As mentioned above, the rehearsal dinner location was an 8 minute drive from Rosemary Beach, so we hired Southern Coaches busses to bring guests to and from the event. Southern Coaches was incredibly easy to work with, and it brought back nostalgia for us Dothanites – shout out to Houston Academy field trips!
